PULLING TOGETHER FOR NATIVE HEALTH

Our Mission:

The Indian Health Board will augment the health care services and public health services to the Native people in the Pacific Northwest. We will analyze community needs, develop programs, and deliver services in a sprirt of collaboration; based on available funds, and Tribal desires. The needs of our clients define the goals for our work. The following six guiding principles will help us measure the appropriateness of our decisions:

  1. Provide a safe, supportive and enjoyable work environment and treat each other, our clients, and our partners with respect and dignity.

  2. Embrace community health improvement as the essential component in the services we provide.

  3. Apply the highest standards of excellence to assessment, education, consultation, case management, and health care; thereby assuring that clients receive the care they need.
